Privacy policy

Bids by NAICS is a trading name of CHM Capital Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17466915, registered office 59-60 Russell Square, London WC1B 4HP ("we", "us").
This policy covers bidsbynaics.com and the daily digest email. We hold as little about you as the service needs.
What we collect
- Your email address, to send the digest, receipts and sign-in links.
- Your digest settings: the NAICS codes, states and the choice about notices without a place of performance.
- A record of the notices we have sent you, so that none is sent twice.
- The IP address you signed up from, kept with your subscription as a record of the sign-up.
- Payment details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we receive a customer reference, the subscription status and the renewal date.
The code pages themselves need no personal information to read.
Sign-in links
There are no passwords. Your account page opens from a link we email you. We store only a one-way hash of the link's token, and each new link replaces the one before.
Analytics
We count visits with Fathom Analytics, which sets no cookies and collects no personal data. The only cookie this site sets is a 30-day referral cookie when you arrive through a partner link with a ?ref= code, so that the partner is credited if you subscribe.
How we use your information
- To send the digest you pay for, your sign-in links and service messages.
- To handle billing, refunds and support requests.
- To keep the records tax and accounting law requires.
We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
Who processes it
Stripe (payments), Mailgun (sending email) and our hosting providers process data on our behalf. Some of them are in the United States.
How long we keep it
Your settings and send record are kept while your subscription runs. After it ends we keep them only as long as support and accounting need, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how we use it. UK and EU residents have these rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or their local authority; California residents have them under the CCPA/CPRA. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within the time the law allows. Deleting your data ends the digest.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above, and tell subscribers by email about any material change.
