Accessibility statement
Effective September 29, 2026
We want everyone to be able to read the code pages, sign up for the digest and manage it. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we test pages against it when we change them.
What we have done
- A skip link, one main heading per page and landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer.
- Tables with captions and column headers, and figures given in text as well as in bars; the bars are never the only way a number is shown.
- Every form field has a label. The NAICS code picker works from the keyboard: arrow keys move through suggestions, Enter adds a code, and each chosen code has its own remove button.
- A visible focus outline on every link, button and field.
- Text and background colors that meet the AA contrast ratios.
- Layouts that reflow at narrow widths and when zoomed; on small screens the code browser folds into a single expandable list.
Known limitations
- The state picker lists all 56 states and territories as checkboxes, which is long to move through with a screen reader. Leaving them all unchecked selects every state.
- Notice titles in the digest are the agencies' own wording and can be hard to read. We link each one to its full notice on SAM.gov.
- The sign-up checkout runs on Stripe's pages, which have their own accessibility statement.
Tell us about a problem
If anything on the site or in the digest is hard to use, write to [email protected] with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within five business days, and we can send any page's figures as plain text in the meantime.
